INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE
The purpose of AIESEC is to develop and empower young people all over the world, and make a global impact. One of the main ways we do this is through providing volunteer exchange, which is directly facilitated by the Outgoing Exchange team.
The Outgoing Exchange team is responsible for the main task of sending people on exchange. The process involves evaluating applicants, finding an exchange program that suits their preferences, and preparing the exchange participant for an adventure of a lifetime. In this way, the Outgoing Exchange team ensures that the exchange participant makes the most out of their experience.
Members of the Outgoing Exchange team engage in activities including:
• Application logistics
• Interviewing experience
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Culture preparation
• Travel logistics
• Leadership and teamwork experience
The portfolio allows you to indirectly impact developing communities around the world through facilitating the experience of our exchange participants. You will be able to have first hand interaction with young people, just like you, who are eager to make a difference in the world.

AIESEC is the world’s largest student-run organisation, run by youth - like you – who are passionate about global awareness and leadership. We want to enrich people’s lives through international experiences allowing them to make an impact on the world. This is achieved by sending exchange participants on our Go Global Programs. Exchange participants not only make a direct social impact, but they also develop as leaders of tomorrow.
The learning experience from the work I did, the people I've met, the various ways I have developed - they all made me become a better person.
