WHY GO ON A GO TEACH PROGRAM
Our Go Teach program provides you a transition between academic studies and a professional career through practical experience. It offers you real time challenges in a culturally different environment and allows you to develop a deeper cultural understanding and global mobility. Even if you do not have an education related career path, it is expected that you seek to gain professional experience through the program as well as cross-cultural understanding and insight into education systems abroad.
AIESEC committees around the world set up partnerships with companies and other organisations to organise an international placement.
AIESEC Sydney sends exchange participants overseas for 3-18 months to work in a global environment teaching languages, social sciences, and more.
Go Teach Programs generally last for 3 – 18 months. This program is a long-term global internship where exchange participants will experience professional and personal development. We have programs available all year round.
An AIESEC Go Teach Program has an administration fee of only $750.
The reason why are so cheap is because we are not-for-profit and completely student run. At local levels, we are all university students volunteering to facilitate these exchange programs to students. This is because we want to give as many students as possible the chance to develop their leadership potential and make a difference.
Flights, travel insurance, visas, vaccinations and living expenses are at your own cost. However, many of our programs do provide accommodation and food.
