Application
When you are ready, complete the online application form.
Don’t forget to send us a copy of your CV. Please ensure that you are free on the day of the next interview.Should your application be successful, we will invite you to sit an interview. You will receive an invoice for a deposit of $50 required to sit the interview. Once this payment has been made, we can arrange an interview time for you (usually on a Saturday).
Interview
The interview aims to ensure that everyone participating in an AIESEC exchange is suitable and will have a positive experience while on exchange.
Preparation
You are required to pay a one-off fee of $550 (for GCDP - Go Volunteer Program) or $700 (for GIP - Go Teach Program) within 7 days of passing the interview. Our team will search for specific internship programs based on your preferences. We will provide you with a list of programs where you can then choose the one that interests you the most.
It will be your responsibility to book flights, travel insurance, sorting out visas and get vaccinations (if applicable). You will also receive $50 worth of goodies (snacks, merchandise) so that you can share Australian culture with the other interns. Our team will happily assist you with all of your preparation needs!
Exchange
The AIESEC members in your host chapter will provide support in receiving you, getting logistically setup while providing opportunities for cultural and social activities. Further, our team will keep in contact with you throughout the internship to ensure that you have the best possible experience.
Return
Upon returning from your exchange, you will be invited to share your experiences at a Welcome Back event. We will also offer further AIESEC opportunities after your exchange, so that you may be part of providing the opportunity you had to others.
